ABIDE Youth

Abide Youth is a ministry for students in grades 6-12.
The program is focused on teaching what it means
to be connected to the true vine, Jesus (John 15).
All services take place in the Youth Sanctuary.

Gathering Times:
Mid-week services (Wed @ 6:00-7:00pm) and Sunday Services are held
in the Youth Sancutary located in the second floor in room #2.

Mid-week services (Wed  @ 6:00-7:00pm)
Wednesday night is an excellent opportunity for students to learn how to study the Word of God. Sundays are dedicated to a topic chosen by the youth, while Sunday nights focus on exploring Genesis through Revelation. In contrast, Wednesday nights are specifically designed for learning how to engage with Scripture. Students are encouraged to open the Bible and see the living Word of God come alive on the pages!

Sunday 10:30am -11:30am

Sunday morning is a great time for the Youth to explore relevant topics of their own interest through the use of a Bible topic box.

Sunday 5:00pm-6:00pm

Sunday night is a great time for your youth to explore our new series, "The Big Picture!" We will delve into the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, exploring the main points of the Biblical narrative. Expect a fun game, snacks, and Biblical Truth!

Mission Statement
The mission of Abide Youth is to abide in the love of Jesus and His word to glorify
The Father, bear fruit, and prove to be His disciples. (John 15:1-11)

Vision Statement
The vision of Abide Youth is to introduce the 6th-12th grade community to the joy
and love of Jesus through outreach events, Bible series, and church occasions.
We pray that by doing so, God will call them to join our church community and
experience an academic and devotional environment grounded in Biblical teachings.
Our efforts rely solely on God, and apart from Him, we can do nothing. (John 15:5)

Brief Objective

Fruit Tree Leadership Initiative

Abiding in Christ means bearing fruit, and FTLI exists to help Youth get involved in the Church and a variety of
Non-profit outreaches.

The Fruit Tree Leadership Initiative (FTLI) was started October of 2024 as a way for Youth to get involved in the global church by learning what it means to be a leader while gaining valuable experience. The initiative is paired with the Abide Youth Ministry, whose mission is to abide in the love of Jesus and His word,  glorify The Father, bear fruit, and prove to be His disciples. (John 15:1-11). FTLI was born out of Abide Youth’s objective: To establish a Biblical worldview before High School graduation that will impact their eternity. Coming alongside this objective, FTLI is the medium through which young leaders can learn to implement their Biblical worldview in leadership positions.  Believers' lives should not be divided by the secular and spiritual; rather, the Gospel should influence their entire lifestyle. Each believer is called to a vocational ministry. FTLI is a vocational ministry. Frequently, people are told to leave their beliefs at home; work is not the place for spirituality. The average person spends 90,000 hours working, meaning each vocation is an outlet for getting plugged into ministry. Youth who are a part of FTLI will be encouraged to give up the secular/spiritual model and consider a life entirely focused on their relationship with Christ, allowing Him to work through their lives in each field they enter.

Leader Board

The students featured on the Leader Board are currently participating in FTLI's objective to teach 6-12th graders how to apply their Biblical worldview in leadership roles. The Gospel is a lifestyle, and these student volunteers are learning to balance their faith with full-time responsibilities according to their position.
